Days 7 and 8 we were still getting over sore throats, sneezing and coughing. Both days we walked around the KLCC park. The walk there is via the elevated walkway. Relaxing and nice not to worry about traffic and crosswalks and sidewalks, which can be challenging.
On Friday (Day 7) we stopped by the craft center. The hop-on/hop-off bus was pulling in as we arrived - always a good sign we are in a popular tourist area! It comprises multiple buildings — one for sell crafts, several huts for artists painting/selling their paintings, huts for kids and adults to paint, a cafeteria, offices, and maybe artist residences (hard to tell). We did not buy anything, and many huts were closed, but we got the general idea.
Today (Day 9) we went back to St. Andrew’s, then grabbed a Grab to Desa Park City to check out that planned development community. There’s a pretty pond with walking paths around it and a dog park. There are LOTS of dogs - primarily little well-groomed dogs. Many of the many restaurants have a “dog-friendly” section where dogs were sitting on chairs (Mackers’ dream!). There were parks and shops and amenities (hair cutting, Botox/facials, etc.). A well-planned, easy-to-live-in, green development.
We walked through a grocery store in Desa Park City. Photos below for price comparison. It surprises me that many of US brands are on the shelves!
That’s all for today. Stay warm!!!
